Rain

Why is it that when I'm about to wake up, having some dreamless night, heavy rains greet my morning? And then ideas of not going for work starts to flood my mind. I start convincing myself that the streets of metropolis are now flooded and who in their right mind will go out in this kind of weather! Ha! Ha! Right! And reality sets in while I drag my ass out of bed and get to move before I sink deep into more sinful thoughts!

Against my will I got up and prepare for the worst. When I got as far as the highway, floods were everywhere! I don't know if I'll be able to ride since cars (public and private) are already stuck in traffic jam! Damn! I decided to walk instead to reach as far the bridge that connects our district to the next and take the ride there. That was easy until I reached Bonifacio Circle because as I was walking again with still more rain and floods, there's this Hi-Ace car that didn't even change gear and just went ahead and splash of flood water came down my pants! Damn! I was cursing the driver to high heavens and I was thinking, he will have his time! And by that time I was beginning to think that I made a mistake and should have really stayed in the safety of my house!

Anyways, at last, I reached my office earlier than I expected. Kudos to me since I didn't loose my mind and manage to come on time and in one piece!
